Information we collect
When you request a quote or contact us, we collect your name, either phone number or email address, and your project description. You can also choose to provide a property address, approximate property size, preferred timing and service interests. Please do not include payment card information, identification documents or other sensitive information.
The website does not currently accept photo uploads. If you later send project photos by email, those photos and any visible personal information are part of your request.
Why we use your information
We use request information to answer questions, prepare quotes, discuss and schedule work, and contact you about your project. If you become a customer, information may also be used for invoices and service records. We do not sell personal information. A quote request does not sign you up for newsletters or marketing emails.
Storage and service providers
Lovable hosts this website and provides Lovable Cloud for server-side form processing and transactional email delivery, using a Supabase database and email queue. The database holds email delivery logs, queued messages and email-preference records; quote and contact details are sent to our business inboxes. Google processes those messages through Gmail and, for quote requests, Google Workspace. Public site images are delivered through the Lovable asset delivery service.
Google Fonts supplies Sora and Manrope; loading fonts shares technical connection information such as your IP address with Google. The Contact page includes a Google Maps embed that can receive your IP address and browser information and may use cookies under Google's policies. Instagram, Facebook and Google Business Profile are external links, not embedded feeds; visiting them is governed by their own policies.
Hosting and email services process technical data needed for operation and security. No Google Analytics, advertising pixel or newsletter script is configured in the website code. [CONFIRM: whether additional hosting-level analytics are enabled and which provider processes that data.]
Service providers may process information outside Canada. [CONFIRM: the actual hosting, database, email and backup storage countries, and any underlying email delivery subcontractor.]
How long we keep information
Our retention period for customer information is two years, after which it should be deleted or anonymized unless a longer period is required by law. [CONFIRM: when the two-year period starts, how deletion is carried out in business inboxes and provider backups, and which legally required records must be kept longer.] Financial and tax records may need longer retention, and information relevant to a three-year warranty may need separate handling. Those exceptions need to be confirmed before deletion.
Your choices and rights
You may email us to ask what personal information we hold, request access or corrections, ask for deletion, or withdraw consent to further contact. We may need to verify your identity without requesting more information than necessary. We will explain any legal reason that prevents deletion or disclosure. Withdrawal may affect our ability to respond to your request or provide service.
Safeguards and privacy questions
Forms are validated on the server, connections use HTTPS, and website visitors cannot directly read or change the email records in our database. No system is risk-free. Please contact us with privacy questions or concerns, including requests for an accessible copy of this policy.
